The Cinque Terre (Italian pronunciation: [ˈtʃiŋkwe ˈtɛrre]) is a rugged portion of coast on the Italian Riviera. It is in the Liguria region of Italy, to the west of the city of La Spezia. “The Five Lands” comprises five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. (Wikipedia)
The Cinque Terre is located along the north west coast of Italy. Five small communities located on hillside connected by hiking paths and a rail line are quaint and beautiful towns for photography. I have the opportunity to participate in a Photo Workshop in Nov 2015 as was treated with fruitful fodder for the eyes. The focus was on sunrise sunset and blue hours – looked pretty good!
