On the road toward Yosemite NP a few miles shy of the South Entrance there is a creek side trail following Lewis Creek. Corlieu Falls is a short hike down hill from the parking lot off the side of the road. This past year with the use of “Stimulus Money” the trail was improved and a viewing platform constructed to view the falls. I have been visiting this site several times a year for the past few years and have seen Corlieu Falls with various levels of water flow. It is just now starting to diminish to early summer levels since this was a wet year.
