The above average snow fall this year will undoubtedly will create high volumes of water in streams and rivers this year. This photo was taken just south of Lake Tahoe along Hwy 89 yesterday. The snow was abundant above 7000 feet but temperatures in the 60’s was accelerating the melt. As you can see the flora has not yet bloomed but is about to.  This spring should bring many photographic opportunities.
