Last weekend (October 13) i participated it the Kelby Media Group Wrold Wide Photo Walk in Minneapolis. I happen to be visiting Minneapolis for the first time (on business) and took a break on Saturday Evening to join a group of enthusiastic local photographers. Due to weather conditions we were unable to photograph our original target the Stone Bridge, and instead walked around downtown. Downtown Minneapolis is a lovely stroll and was fruitful. I did get asked to leave two buildings and stop photographing on the inside. For those of you not familiar with Minneapolis (i was not) the down town is connected by a series of second floor “Sky Ways” which allows one the walk the entire downtown are without going out side. I am sure this will be a necessity a few months form now . The connecting buildings have beautify lobbies and foyers . We stated in the IDS building seen in the photos with the American Flag hanging then took a walk up the Nicolette Mall.
